About the author, hearer

The hearer is a long-time follower of Christ. She has been so in different Christian Churches both Catholic and Protestant, where Jesus is loved. She has been a Director of Youth Ministry, teacher, non-profit leader, activist, and  Bible study leader, with a consistent passion for sharing the beauty and goodness of God.  Christine enjoys gathering knowledge of any kind and sharing it; as a teacher she has taught Religion, Logic, History, and Gifted Education.  The author is a student of God’s Word and His Church while also seeking Him in the beauty of nature, friends and family, and a good game of anything from tennis to Bridge. Currently, she is the Founder of Heartbeats Matter. She is writing a Bible Study on the Heart and Book 2 of The Jesus Journals. She considers prayer her most important work because she believes that God’s greatest power on earth is the love and prayers of His broken-hearted sinners who seek Him with all of their whole hearts.
