Day 28

Your _______ is not the problem, sin is. Sin is in all of you. Pride is the greatest sin culprit. You must not give into pride and teach your children not to by leading by example.

 It is a flesh-filled world. Flesh was meant to be good in the garden. Skin and bones and diverse coverings were given to all for My enjoyment and yours, but pride entered Lucifer and brought pride to the garden. The garden, My joy and yours, fell from pride. Pride destroys all things in its path. You are listening to the spirit about reaping and sowing (Matt. 13: 18-23) in your home, kill pride with gentleness. 

 Do you want to know where pride is in your life? Each of you can answer the question of how you exalt yourself and demean others. Pride happens in the thought and heart life but always finds its way to action. So, it must be stopped in the mind. This is a worthy exercise for all of My followers. There is no room for self-pride on the path to love – the path with and to Me. All who walk the journey must walk humbly or they cannot walk with Me at all.

 Even a gentle or listening heart may be stirred to the reality of My love, but unless the stirred heart humbles itself and exalts Me, there can be no love between us. Same for human love and marital love. Human beings can always say they “love”.  Yet true love cares more for the other than for self. I am love and that is what I do and who I am. I am humble. Love is a cross-the cross is love. There is no other path to love.

There are those who say or believe they love Me, but I do not know them and they do not love. Believing does not create love-believing in Me or the other’s worth begins love. The laying down and denial of one's life completes the belief to become love. “If you believe you love, but do not bridle your tongue, you do not love and your religion is in vain”.  (Jam. 1:26)

I am telling you what is missing form your marriages, your relationships, your world. What remains is to complete the perfect work of love by laying down your lives for one another. That is proof and the only proof of love. All My love, little heart.
